How it plays

Each round starts at the left edge and opens in waves. An opened tile reveals a stretch of track that turns up, down or carries on forward, so the road grows into a tree of routes across the grid.

Coins and gems found along a route add to its win, and barrels of dynamite multiply the route ×2–×6. Branches share the track behind them, so an early find counts for every route running through it. A route that reaches the golden vein at the right-hand wall breaks through it for ×1000.

Three ore carts open the Motherlode feature. Inside it you dig by lamplight: while a wave opens new track, all three lamps keep burning. A wave that dead-ends everywhere puts one lamp out. When the last lamp goes out, every route on the board is counted.
